David specializes in providing counselling to couples on relationship issues, as well as families in conflict and parenting issues.
He also has extensive experience in helping those with anxiety, depressive, and compulsive symptoms.
David is keenly interested in helping teens and tweens with self-esteem & self-confidence issues.
There are practical and workable methods to help with important issues.
David does workshops in parenting, relationships & marriage issues, effective communication and conflict resolution skills.

David strongly believes that counselling and psychotherapy should always be grounded upon compassion and empathy.
He practices an eclectic therapeutic approach: emphasising Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and/or Solution-Based Therapy to help clients resolve their problems areas in a structured and time-managed manner.
David also practices Psychodynamic Therapy as he considers the past as vital in helping many clients understand and come to terms with the origins and sources of their issues and problems. At the same time, he stresses everyday practicalities and effective strategies to clients to constructively engage the present.

We are happy to provide referrals and recommendations to other mental health professionals or allied services where and when required or requested.
Our primary Mission Objective is to highlight and raise the awareness of the general public to Counselling and Therapy, and how it could
help and benefit them with improving their lives. Counselling and therapy are NOT only for those with serious problems and/or mental issues.
Fees are charged at a base rate of S$120 per 60 minutes session. Single sessions are recommended for individual therapy, teens and children. Extended single sessions for adults may be possible (but subject to scheduling constraints); extended sessions are always mutually agreed between the therapist and client(s); rates for extended sessions are pro-rated.
Couple and family therapy (involving 2 or more persons) usually require 90 to 120 minutes (1.5 to 2 single sessions in one sitting). The fees are S$180 to S$240 respectively. Family therapy encompasses the following scenarios:
- 2 or more adults
- Parent(s) and 1 child
- Sibling counselling (2 or more children)
- Parent, caregiver and child.
The FIRST session for a NEW client(s) is typically (at least) 90 minutes (S$180). This includes registration, background & personal history taking, and evaluation & assessment.
Special & Other Charges
Home/School/Hospital visits: S$180 for 60 minutes (minimum); S$300 for 120 minutes.
Referral Letters & Replies to 3rd Parties: S$60 per letter
- Complete Evaluation Report for referrals & to 3rd Parties: S$360
(Report applicable only after TWO single sessions)
